Wall of Fame

The Business Development project for the Armenian health care market is my first one targeted to this area. My objective was to bring Pharma companies from the Caucasian region together with Mid-European players in order to find business opportunities for both. My assumption was: markets in this region are not yet fully saturated as in Central Europe and the standards of health care can be developed. My first choice was Armenia, due to good market information and an overall stable country. After an in-depth web-research several local Armenian companies were contacted by e-mail. Coincidently a B2B plattform Armenia at the WKO was on schedule and I registered and fixed a date with the company Pharmgohar. The meeting wih the CEO Ms. Gohar Vardanyan went very well. Her objectives were the same: finding cooperations with producers from DACH region in selective indications in order to expand her business in Armenia. We both identified areas of interests and agreed on further cooperation. In the next weeks we exchanged a CDA and a full project description designed for female health care. Then I started to search for the appropriate partner within DACH and identified a mid-sized Swiss company willing to expand to Armenia. Frequently scheduled Skype conferences allowed the full exchange of information and led finally to a selection of products of interest for both sides. After good negotiations of terms and conditions a Distribution Agreement for 3 years was signed in Switzerland.
