
Legal information on CONSTANTINUS Award
The organizer accepts participation only on the following conditions. If any questions should occur, please contact the organizer. With submission of the documents the participant declares that he or she has read and understood the eligibility requirements and has agreed with them.
Eligibility:
Eligible for Constantinus Award are all members of the Austrian Professional Association of Management Consultancy, Accounting and Information Technology (UBIT) of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Only projects finished until March 28th, 2022 may be submitted.
The international category is open for all members of any FEACO or ICMCI member organisation.
Costs:
Parties interested in participation, should submit their documents via online questionnaire. Per participant two projects can be submitted for evaluation. Handling expenses per project are Euro 190,- plus VAT.
In addition each Austrian entrant may participate in the following awards without further expenses: Constantinus European Award and Constantinus International Award for International Projects (assigned by the European umbrella organization of national UBIT-representation of interests FEACO and the international consultants’ association ICMCI).
Billing:
The participants receive the invoice of the participation fee via mail after they have completed their project. For submissions to be valid, fees must be paid within 4 weeks from the date of arrival, but no later than April 25th, 2022.
Evaluation:
After the deadline a jury is evaluating the entries.
Strictly those projects that are in accordance with the eligibility requirements and whose payments the Constantinus Award has obtained on time can be admitted to evaluation process.
The participants are being informed as soon as the finalists of the Constantinus Award are determined.
The participants have no bearing on the allocation of, the assessment of or the decision of the jury. The participants particularly have no right of co-determination, nor the right to take legal action against the decision of the jury.
The decision of the jury is irrevocable. Legal action is excluded.
Awarding:
The laureate commits himself/herself to attend the award ceremony in person and to accept the award himself/herself. In case of groups or businesses this may occur with only two representatives.
The granting of the Constantinus Award takes place publicly in the course of a Constantinus Award Gala.
The participant bears all possible taxes connected to the acceptance of non-cash prizes.
Data:
With participation and submission of the online entry the participant in the Constantinus Award agrees that his or her submitted data can be used within the line of Constantinus Award marketing activities (by Constantinus Award and sponsors and co-operation partners). Further the participant grants the Constantinus Award the right to publish details on the project of submission.
General Terms and Conditions:
As organizer of the competition the Constantinus Award may involve other businesses in the realization of the competition. In these terms they together are named as organizers.
In addition the sponsors and cooperation partners are also involved in the realization of the competition.
As far as there are no exceptions in the terms the entrants have no claim on compensation for the expenses, efforts and cost emerging in the context of the Constantinus Award.
If any damage should happen to an entrant in the context of their participation, the organizer and sponsors are liable only if the damage was caused by their gross negligence.
Concerning send in material there is no right to restitution.
The organizer reserves the right to himself to exclude submissions without giving a reason, in particular if the fee has not been paid in due time, if the submission was untruthful or incomplete or if the client denied his consent.
The organizers and sponsors of the Constantinus Award intend to and may present the send in projects to the public. This may occur in particular through presentations of the projects in the context of public relations, in printed media, CD-ROMs, in the internet, radio or television. In any case projects will be presented to the public in the course of the award ceremony.
In the course of the presentation the projects may be shown as a whole or partial, on their own or in association with other projects or means of presentation (video, pictures, music, etc.).
The participants grant the territorial and temporal and in content unlimited rights for the abovementioned uses. Included is every kind of entire or partial publication or rendering or duplication or performance or broadcasting or publication on web pages or any kind of media or broadcasting of the award ceremony.
They permit the use of the project related names and brand names and grant the respectively necessary permits and licenses especially in regard to availability in the internet, duplication, distribution, public rendering and broadcasting. The Constantinus Award does not aspire the commercial utilization of the content of the projects.
As far as there are articles (brand names, logos, pictures, music, text, etc.) of a third party included in the projects the entrants declare to hold the rights for necessary licenses and rights. The participants grant the right of exploitation to the Constantinus Award for the abovementioned purpose. Further the participants agree to keep the organizers and sponsors from claims or demands of a third party, based on the third party’s claimed rights on the projects of submission.
The organizers and sponsors engage themselves to put the projects to the use of the abovementioned presentations and public relations uses only plus promotion of the industry and the economic sector. The organizers are forbidden to put the projects of submission to any further use especially targeted on profit or commercial utilization of the submissions through economic implementation beyond the abovementioned propagation and publication or presentation. In this respect the copyrights remain with the participants only.
The participants explicitly consent to inquiry and saving and processing and passing on of their data by the organizers and sponsors. The organizers and sponsors engage themselves to not pass on the data to institutions not linked to the competition.
The participants are committed to inform the organizer concerning all events compromising the adequate and orderly realization of the competition immediately. Significant circumstances are all circumstances compromising further participation or making the legitimate participation appear questionable. It also covers all information concerning contributors, participants and co-authors.
The organizers and sponsors reserve the right to themselves to arrange the realization of the competition according to available human and financial resources and to determine and change the content and date of the award. There is no legal claim of the entrants on execution of the competition or on being awarded as well as on participation in the award ceremony or on the award ceremony taking place on a certain date.
