The project aims at preserving the iconic Austrian company Steyr Mannlicher through increasing its competitiveness in the global market. Increasing production and research and development costs prevent the company to offer its high precision products at a globally competitive price despite its impeccable reputation and traditional engineering expertise. The project aimed at finding Steyr and Indian production partner who would not only ensure that jobs in Austria are saved (local) to increased production demand but also provides an unprecedented growth opportunity by serving the Indian and global market (global).
