Transforming Public transport in India with an iconic Hungarian bus brand -Evopro’s success in global bus production

Evopro Bust ltd is a Hungarian engineering company that owns the iconic Ikarus brand, which was world renowned in the 1970’s and ‘80s. Amidst the increasingly pressing environmental pollution evopro felt compelled to develop a composite bus, which would not only lighten the chassis’s weight (and with this reducing the consumption of the bus) but they also put an electric engine in the back of the bus to reduce emissions to zero. In India both environmental-protection and public transportation are pressing issues. They require urgent and scalable solutions. In this management consulting project LongWealth aimed at introducing evopro to India’s leading bus manufacturing companies and road transportation authorities to prepare a market entry.
